Technology
Students have the opportunity to work with a range of materials including wood, metal, plastic, glass, food, fabrics and fibres to explore and create products using a broad range of technological processes and high quality industry standard equipment.
The use of laser technology and three dimensional printing also provides students with exposure to newly developing technologies.
Elective classes in electronics are also offered where students design, build and evaluate systems using various electronic processes.
Throughout the Design, Creativity and Technology subjects, students learn and develop skills of investigation and design, production and evaluation.
These skills are also transferable across the curriculum and beyond school into the home and the workplace.
